Here is a great vintage plaster Tiger TV lamp from the 50s-60s.

TV lamps were made to sit on top of the TV! TV was watched in the gloom but everyone was afraid of the TV “ruining your eyesight”, so TV lamps were invented to give a bit of light and create interesting silhouettes against the wall atop the TV.

Our old tiger is made of painted plaster. He’s in great shape. I’ve touched up a few of his nicks. He has original wiring and his light works just fine.

He would be great in a bedroom.
