The first “First Friday” of the season is coming up this week, Friday June 3rd.

Of course Mrs Nicholson Home will be open till 9 pm as usual. This Friday there is a “Locals 4 locals” event happening. If you purchase something in one town store, you can get a discount in the next store you visit!

Our musicians will be playing in the “old” Post Office next door so be sure to stop in and hear them.

There are lots of exciting “firsts” this week.

SOFAAR (Society of Fibre Artists of the Annapolis River) is a new fibre arts group launching its organization this Friday with a fibre arts exhibit at St. Luke’s Church Hall on St-George St. Be sure to stop in either Friday night or Saturday (10 -2) to check out the fabulous fibre show and tel. And there will be a dog show at the market square. This is to help raise awareness of the new off-leash dog park that is being built near the skate board park here in town.
