Here we are already at the last First Friday of 2015.

Our musicians will be back at Mrs. Nicholson Home playing their bluegrass – rain or shine – and our store will be open till 9 pm.

We hope you will stop in and see us.

MNH will close for the season in ten days on Saturday, October 10th.

But this Friday, there will be lots of activities in the market square with a dance, candy apples and apple pies for sale.

There is always lots to see and do in the “tiny, perfect town”!

October 2015 – First Friday

It will be all about kids this coming First Friday on September 4th in Annapolis Royal.

There will be lots of activities at the market square and on the wharf with Zumba and music and even a Town Scavenger Hunt. See poster below for details!

Here at MNH, we will have our regular musicians back to play for us starting around 7 pm.

Come to Town, enjoy a great evening, sleep over and visit our wonderful Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning.

First Friday activities!

Tonight, August 7th is the First Friday of the month!

We all know what that means. Mrs. Nicholson Home and other stores are all open late and there are lots of activities going on.

Don’t miss the Advanced Style parade down the street at 6 pm!

Lots of music at the market square.

And you can have an evening swim under the stars at the community pool until 10:30 pm.

Come and have some Friday night fun in Annapolis Royal!

First Friday. August 7th, 2015

First Friday is here again! And the sun is shining!

At Mrs. Nicholson Home we will have our musicians playing outside our shop around 7 pm and lots of treasures inside! We will be open till 9 pm.

There will be a Zumba class at the wharf, open mic at the market as well as a free magic show at 6 pm and kite flying at the Fort.

The now famous First Friday late evening summer swim will take place at the community pool from 8:30 till 11 pm.

The Historic Gardens is having its annual Wine and Roses event Friday night.

So come stroll, shop and even swim under the stars.

And don’t forget that tomorrow is our annual House and Garden Tour and the Farmers’ Market begins at 8 am.

First Friday fun tonight!

The sun streamed in on us last night and our musicians even played outside.

We love the First Friday evenings! Next one is July 3rd.

First Fridays are back for 2015!

Every first Friday of the month from June till October, the Town of AR is hopping!

Stores stay open till 9 and there will be Skippers at the Farmers’ Market between 6 and 7 pm as well as other musical entertainment. If you are feeling stretchy, there will be a Power Yoga session from 6 to 7 as well. And a pottery demonstration.

The Fort will be open and a Graveyard Tour offered.

And here at Mrs. Nicholson Home, our own musicians will be back playing bluegrass for you all around 6:30.

Come to Annapolis Royal for the evening, spend the night and enjoy our wonderful Farmers’ Market on Saturday.

The last “First Friday” of the 2014 season is coming up this Friday, October 3rd.

There are lots of planned activities out an about in Annapolis Royal: pony rides for the kids at the Fort, treats and music at the market and, of course, stores open late for some early Christmas shopping!

We will have our usual gang of musicians here and hope to see you in Town!

This September we celebrate SOUL.

Our store will be open till 9 pm and “our” band will be here playing Bluegrass.

There will also be music at the market square and at the Town Hall and a free film projected outdoors.

So come on in to Annapolis Royal and spend the evening shopping, meeting friends on the street, having a bite to eat and a general good time.

Great fun was had by all of us who dressed up to participate in the Walking Street Parade last night for the Opening Ceremonies of the Natal Day Weekend and our First Friday of August.

I felt it was appropriate to be a go-go girl when you have a vintage store!

Natal Day Weekend 2014

A busy weekend ahead in Annapolis Royal for this Natal Day Weekend.

This Friday, August 1st is our Advanced Style parade down the street and the launching of the Natal Day festivities in the market square.

Stores will be open till 9pm and we will have our musicians here to play at around 6:30 or 7.

There will be more music at the market square and down the streets.

The pool is open for a late night swim from 8:30 to 11 pm: <www.annapolispool.ca> So come and swim under the stars with music and hot dog BBQ.
