We’re open on Canada Day for First Friday

Mrs. Nicholson Home will be open from noon till 9 pm on July 1st – this coming Friday.

There are lots of activities planned in the Town.

The community band will play at Fort Anne beginning at 12:15
Stores will be open till 9 pm.
There will be music at the market square, zumba on the boardwalk and popcorn!

The AR community pool opens on July 1st as well. There will be a FREE swim from 1 to 4 pm and then an evening swim ($4) from 8:30 to 10:30. Both swims will have a BBQ with hot dogs ($2) and drinks ($1 – juice/ water).

So come on out and enjoy Canada Day in the birthplace of our wonderful country!

Sherman vintage jewelry

Gustave Sherman was one of Canada’s finest costume jewelry designers. He started his Montreal company in 1941 producing high end, quality costume jewelry until the 1970s.

His beautiful glitzy jewelry styles of the 50s and 60s are finely crafted and highly sought after.

We have a brooch and a pair of earrings in the store… for the moment!

As you know, we love to see our pieces in their new setting once they leave Mrs. Nicholson Home.

This pair of absolutely fabulous vintage lamps with their original shades were in the store last year.

Now they reside in Alberta in Jessica’s newly renovated dining room and are a perfect addition to her decor!
