New in the store is this delightful ladies chaise longue with arms.
It has been newly upholstered by Marc Jacques Upholstery of Bear River with fabric we had in our stash. Isn’t it darling? And so comfy…
Perfect for the screen porch or sunroom or even your bedroom!
Delightful ladies chaise longue – newly upholstered.
Beats what it looked like before!
Before the transformation
Jane finished upholstering the last dinette chair this morning and now the complete set is ready for a new home!
The table is 33 inches wide, 30.5 inches tall and 42 inches long without the leaf and 57.5 inches long with the leaf in.
The leaf, as can be seen in the photo, folds out from under the table itself.
So practical and so pretty now with its newly upholstered chairs !
$425 for the set

The Hale dinette set we had a couple of weeks ago flew out of the store. We have been lucky enough to find another similar maple dinette set with four chairs and a table with an incorporated leaf.
Jane and I have been busy getting it ready just for you.
Out with the old brown vinyl covers and in with a lovely, 1950s printed linen, formerly a curtain panel!
The set is in great condition. A picture of the table will be posted soon.

Jane sat a bit yesterday afternoon and scrubbed this pair of fibreglass TV trays!

And then this footstool needlepoint emerged from under a horrible “newer” fabric. What a great surprise.

And the completed footstool back in its legs.

Not much to look at when it came into the store:
The vanity bench before cleaning and with an ill-fitting cushion cover as upholstery.
But we have worked a little magic on it and used a vintage French needlepoint called “Riviere en automne” to reupholster it and now it is just darling and ready to be used as an entry bench.
