Town Works spiffing up the TPT (tiny perfect town)

The lovely large map of Quebec came out of ARRA (a school in Annapolis Royal).

It was made in Germany in 1975 and is backed on linen.

The colours are very vibrant and it would make a terrific backdrop to any room.

It makes for fascinating reading!

Annapolis Royal always celebrates Canada Day in style!

Beginning at 11:30 tomorrow morning at Town Hall with the opening on through a cake cutting at the Fort at noon, a band concert at the Fort from 12 to 1, more music and then a FREE public swim at our wonderful community pool between 2 and 5 pm.

(Can you tell I am president of the Pool Society ?:-)

There will also be a historic tour beginning at 2 and one of the world famous graveyard tours beginning at 9:30 pm.

Oh and yes, there is a fine art auction going on tomorrow at King’s theatre beginning with the preview at 10 am.

Happy Canada Day!

Jane and I would like to thank you all for your kindness and support.

Losing our brother Jim so suddenly has been a shock and you have all been so good to us.

We really appreciate it.

We will be closed tomorrow June 28th and back in store on Tuesday June 30th.

How many times can we say how much we LOVE turquoise!!

Our whole front window is full of bits of turquoise including four fabulous chrome chairs which are simply stunning.

Then there is the vintage Pyrex Butterprint mixing bowls and covered dishes, some pottery, a couple of sweet lamps, and a record player playing Elvis!

New finds for spring!

Yay! The snow has finally melted away from the front of Mrs. Nicholson Home!

Many of you have no doubt been following Jane on the MNH Facebook page and know we are set to open our doors for our 2015 season on Saturday, May 23rd.

We are both very excited for the new season. You can see a sneak peak of some of our new vintage items on the In Store Now page.
